Infolists FAQ TEST AND 30 TOTAL
- Q: What is Twigs and why is it the chosen format for the lists on this directory?
A: Twigs list management software is a relatively new software
package that is built around the idea of organized, easy to access
information. This software package is revolutionary in its simplicity
and ease of use, and is thus a perfect match for the information sharing
structure of InfoLists.com.
- Q: Who contributes to the directory? Where does all of the information come from?
A: Most of the information available in the directory comes directly
from users like you. Although some lists are added directly by editors
or administrators, most are contributed by users with an interest in a
certain subject.
Anyone is free to submit their information to be included in the
directory and is strongly encouraged to do so as long as it meets our
terms for inclusion.
- Q: Do I have to be an expert to submit a list on a certain subject?
A: Not in the least. All we ask is that the information be accurate
and well written. And you must also ensure your lists meet our
submission guidelines.
- Q: Who decides what information is approved for inclusion to the directory?
A: InfoLists is managed by a group of volunteer editors specific to
each category, and a few site administrators that oversee the editors
and the overall organization of the site. In most cases the editors
have sole discretion in determining which lists are appropriate and
positive contributions to the categories they are responsible for.
- Q: Can I use the information and lists in the directory for my own use, on my own site or in my own printed material?
A: The lists in the directory are intended to be freely available
for everyone to use personally and improve on. However, we do not
currently allow anyone to use the lists contained here commercially,
redistribute the directory lists or print them in commercial
publications to protect the integrity of the directory and our
contributing members. For more information on our terms of use or how
to display our information lists on your website, click here.
